What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, country, topic and message. Please do not send photographs of identity documents or payment details; we never need them.

How we use it

To reply to you, to correct our guides, and, where you report a scam, to decide whether to pass the information to the relevant agency. We do not sell or share your details for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. Use the contact form and mention “privacy request”. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Retention

We keep messages only as long as needed to answer them and to keep our record of corrections.
