Independent consumer guide

Truthdocuments Canada: fake document scams, explained

Short answer: Truthdocuments Canada is an independent site that explains how fake driver's licence, passport, immigration, language-test and nursing-credential scams work in Canada, what the Criminal Code says, and which province, agency or regulator actually issues the real document. We sell and arrange nothing at all.

Canada has no single licence office. A driver's licence comes from the province, a passport from the federal government, a language result from the test company, a nursing registration from a provincial college. That patchwork is exactly what scammers lean on: an official-looking text, a look-alike website, a certificate that “skips the test”. These guides name each pattern, show the official route beside it and say who to call when it goes wrong.

One honest note first. When we searched for the buyer-intent phrases in Google Canada in October 2026, we did not find shops openly selling Canadian driver's licences in the first results; we found driving schools, directories and videos. The harm we could document with official sources lies elsewhere, and the guides follow the evidence.

Frequently asked questions

Is Truthdocuments a government website?

No. Truthdocuments is independent and has no link to any federal, provincial or territorial agency. For official services use the agency pages listed in our guides.

Do you sell or arrange licences or certificates?

No. We do not sell, issue or arrange any document. Anyone who says they act for us is impersonating us.

Can I report a scam site to you?

You can write to us through the contact page, but report it first to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and your local police. The route is on report fraud in Canada.
