We do not know what it proposes, so the \u00a312 and \u00a310 prices are those mygov.scot shows today. Check the amount on the official page before you pay, and be sceptical of any site that says a new price has already started.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"s4\">Spotting a premium reseller<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"check\">\n<li>The address is mygov.scot, scotlandspeople.gov.uk or a council domain, not an advert for &ldquo;Scottish certificates&rdquo;.<\/li>\n<li>The fee is about \u00a312 for a certificate, with no separate &ldquo;research&rdquo; line.<\/li>\n<li>It asks only for the details above, not a passport scan.<\/li>\n<li>It does not promise delivery faster than the official urgent options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Resellers copy the pattern used for English certificates: an official-looking name, a higher fee and the same record.
