In Canada only CAA issues one.<\/dd>\n<dt>Indictable offence<\/dt>\n<dd>A more serious offence tried by a procedure that allows the higher maximum penalties quoted on this site, such as 10 years under section 368.<\/dd>\n<dt>IRCC<\/dt>\n<dd>Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, which also issues passports.<\/dd>\n<dt>LMIA<\/dt>\n<dd>Labour Market Impact Assessment, an ESDC document an employer applies for to hire a foreign worker.<\/dd>\n<dt>Misrepresentation<\/dt>\n<dd>Under section 40 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, misrepresenting or withholding material facts; a ground of inadmissibility lasting five years after a final determination.<\/dd>\n<dt>Phishing<\/dt>\n<dd>A message that imitates an agency to collect your payment details; the OPP uses the word for the fake Service Ontario links.<\/dd>\n<dt>SIN<\/dt>\n<dd>Social Insurance Number.
