Fees and deadlines carry the date we checked them, because they change.<\/p>\n<h2>Penalties and rights<\/h2>\n<p>A penalty is quoted only from a statute we read, and it is always described as a ceiling, never as the usual outcome. The guides are information, not legal advice; a lawyer or legal-aid clinic can advise on a real case.<\/p>\n<h2>Corrections<\/h2>\n<p>Factual errors are corrected quickly and logged on <a href=\"\/ca\/corrections\/\">the corrections page<\/a>.
